1

Apply to clean, dry skin

A line of type about why
2

Measure your Tape

KOMO tape stretches about 50 % as you apply to the skin or over a joint. Therefore if you cut a 10 cm length of tape, it should stretch to 15cm. 20 cm length will stretch to 30 cm and a 30 cm length will stretch to 45cm. A helpful indicator to stretch is that the pattern on the tape should not distort, otherwise you have applied too much stretch and the tape will not feel comfortable or adhere well to the skin.
3

Cut the Corners

Cut with rounded edges to increase adhesion. This means that the tape is likely to stay on longer if it has rounded edges
4

Rub the applied Tape

Once the tape has been applied to the skin to support muscle or joint, rub for 10 sec in the direction you applied the tape to increase adherence. The vigorous rubbing creates warmth to allow the skin glue to stick better.
5

Apply 30 mins before exercise

If possible, apply KOMO tape 30 minutes before you exercise to allow the tape adequate time to adhere to the skin properly.
6

If irritation occurs remove the tape

KOMO tape is hypoallergenic and suitable for most skin types. However, if the skin becomes itchy or irritated by the tape, remove immediately and discontinue use.
7

Tape should last for 3 days

KOMO tape should last for at least 3 days depending on where the tape is applied, level of exercise intensity and weather conditions (humidity and extreme cold)
8

The tape will dry within minutes are getting wet

The tape is able to get wet and dries within minutes after shower or swim. (Take care if using several layers to tape an ankle, for example, as the underneath layers may not dry properly. In this case, use the tape for a single purpose; training, sports event, competition etc. Otherwise refrain from getting wet if you intend to keep the tape on longer).
9

Remove with Oil

Once tape starts to peel off, it is recommended to use tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil or household cooking oil and apply a generous amount to the tape. Wait a few minutes and remove tape while showering.
10

Wait 6-8 hours before reapplication

Preferably wait 6-8 hours to allow skin to breathe before re-applying KOMO tape.
